Plain text is just plain text. To separate paragraphs, leave an empty line between them:

but please use that sparingly. You can also use italics and bold by using double slashes // and double asterisks **, respectively, on both sides of the text to be emphasized.

Headings are made with equal signs = at the beginning of the line. The more of them, the smaller the heading:

Huge heading

Large heading

Medium heading

Small heading

Completely tiny heading

You can also insert a horizontal line, by using four minus signs ---- at the beginning of the line:

Bullet lists are made by putting asterisks * at the beginning of every line. Add more asterisks to get a nested sublist:

Links to other pages are made by putting the name of a page between double square brackets [[]] like this: Home. You can also insert images using double curly braces {{}} like this: .
